Stations of Cross and Dvorák’s Stabat Mater

The C0-Cathedral of the Sacred Heart’s Schola Cantorum and Cor Jesu choirs will combine with special guests Kingwood High School Madrigals in a Choral Masterworks presentation of Anton Dvorák’s monumental Stabat Mater following a 7pm prayer service with the Stations of the Cross led by parish youth. The music outlines Christ’s passion via the stations of the cross. André Lombardi has masterfully transcribed the work for organ, and Kingwood High School Madrigal singers will be joined by soloists Natalia Leslie, Rebeca Gonzalez, Gigi Bautista, Tori Trahan, Jason Watt, Gabriel Gutierrez, Jason Gabi, Julia Cecilia Starr, Ashlee Hernandez, Santi Fonseca and Michael Kessler.
