“Canta Tu Fé”: Hispanic Pastoral Musicians Conference at University of St. Thomas

CANTA TU FÉ: la Misión es Armonía – this year’s summer conference is hosted by the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston at the University of St. Thomas at 4300 University Drive, Houston 77004. Come hear composers Jaime Cortez, Rudy and Estela Lopez, Peter Kolar, Dr. Dolores Martinez and others in bilingual workshops and worship services with Cardinal DiNardo and Bishop Dell’Oro – and a Fiesta Friday evening on the new Archbishop Fiorenza Plaza following the conference mass at the Co-Cathedral of the Sacred Heart! The conference opens Thursday evening at 6pm, runs all day Friday, and finishes Saturday at noon. Registration cost for the entire conference is only $95 – and if four musicians register together, the fourth registration is free. Housing is also available on the UST campus for an additional fee. Friday evening’s Fiesta is $15 per person, and family and guests are invited to join us for the catered meal and mariachis.
