Houston Festival of Choirs

Chapelwood United Methodist Church and Masterworks Chorus host and feature massed choirs performing Elaine Hagenbergs’ “Illuminare” (Dr. Paulo Gomes, conductor) and Daniel Gawthorps’ “Behold this Mystery” (Cameron Cody, conductor). Cost is $20 per person just to cover the cost of the scores. Rehearsals on Friday May 19th (6-9pm) and Saturday May 20th (10-12:30am). Both works will be performed with symphonic orchestra, and composer Daniel Gawthrops will be present.
