Each first Friday of the month at 12:45pm (following the 12:10 mass) a recital by a local organist is presented on the co-cathedral’s pipe organ -Opus XIX by Martin Pasi and Associates. The 2010 instrument contains 5,499 hand-constructed pipes and weighs 11 tons. Its unique collection of stops allows it to play medieval to modern music in varied timbres, and the resonant acoustics of the white stone building (built in the shape of a cross) add to the experience. Parking is across the street next to the Archbishop Fiorenza Plaza.
Admission is free, donations accepted.
