“Dona Nobis Pacem – Grant Us Peace” concert @HCU

Dr. Kevin Klotz directs Houston Christian University’s Schola Cantorum and the University Singers, the Houston Choral Society, and the Houston Civic Symphony in the Dunham Theater in the Morris Arts Center on the HCU campus. Our season finale will touch your soul with Ralph Vaughan Williams’ Dona Nobis Pacem, a dramatic plea for peace based on Walt Whitman poems and Biblical passages. The program also features Johannes Brahms’ Schicksalslied, considered to be one of the composer’s most beautiful shorter works. HCS is excited to share the stage with the Houston Christian University Choirs and the Houston Civic Symphony!
