Dante e la Donna

This concert of Italian-language compositions by Daniel Knaggs will take listeners on a journey through earthly to celestial love, From the brand new Dante Songs and Zita di Lucca (chamber opera), to Tre Inni Mariani, and the unveiling of the 20th installment in Knaggs’s 50-Year Ave Maria Project, the program features both world premieres and works only previously performed in Italy. Performers include the UST Choir directed by Dr. Brady Knapp, Dr. Yuri McCoy (organ), Rachel Chao (piano, Monarch Chamber Players, and soloists Caitlin Aloia, Emily Treigle, Demetrious Sampson Jr., and Kellen Shrimper.
