Chant Vespers of Medieval Music from Notre-Dame de Paris

Following a 1-3pm chant workshop, the Ensemble Organum from Notre-Dame de Paris will bring to life the service of Vespers that replicates a medieval service from Notre-Dame incorporating chant and incense.

The Liturgy of the Hours is an unbroken tradition from at least 600 CE originating in ancient Jewish rituals. It consists of set chant, readings, and prayers throughout the day, and is performed throughout the Christian world.
